Short Bio

I am a Doctor in Zoology from the University of Oxford. I completed my PhD titled “From the Floodplain to the Woodland (and back): Baboon movement in the highly seasonal and heterogeneous ecosystem of Gorongosa National Park”, working on one of the first studies of the baboons of Gorongosa National Park. I hold a BA (Hons) in Anthropology with minors in Theatre Arts and Sustainability Studies from SUNY – Stony Brook in New York, USA. I use observational and remote sensing techniques to study movement and decision making, using both traditional and newly developed methods.
